Bloom Desserts is a dessert company with branches across Africa. The company specializes in creating delectable pastries and desserts that bring joy and delight to its customers.

As part of their commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness, they approached me to help rebrand their identity and create a new website that reflects their values and appeals to their target audience.

My Process

  • I conducted an in-depth analysis of Bloom Desserts, starting with their old brand elements eg logo, color palette, and messaging.
  • I reviewed their target audience demographics, psychographics, and their perception of the brand.
  • Finally I examined resesearch provided by the client detailing the current carbon footprint of Bloom Desserts, their operational processes, sourcing practices, and packaging materials, to get inspiration for my design.

Through extensive research and customer surveys, i was able to identify the core values and USP''s that differentiate Bloom Desserts from competitors and also included their commitment to sustainability and reducing their carbon footprint.

I created a visual identity that reflects Bloom's commitment to sustainability. This includes a new logo, collateral , and visual elements.

  • Sustainable Color Selection: I decided on colours that have a lower carbon footprint during the printing process by opting for shades that require less ink or use environmentally friendly pigments.
  • My Thought Process: I want the users to feel like agents of positive change to feel like every bite is contributing to a collective effort in reducing environmental impact, to savor guilt-free desserts, knowing that each bite supports a greener world.

Results & Impact

Overall, the brand identity and web design for BLOOM combines a clean and colorful aesthetic with an emphasis on family, sustainability, deliciousness, and sweet desire. The result is an enticing and visually appealing online presence that showcases the brand's delectable offerings and inspires customers to indulge in their sweet desires.
